Rabies vaccines are offered by your veterinarian or at the annual rabies drive offered by St Charles Parish.

Next LASPCA community clinic (low cost):

Scheduled once a month.

7 a.m. deliver your pet to shelter lot
4 p.m. pick up your pet

Call 985-783-5010 to schedule. Limited appointments.
Pick up is in our parking lot. This is for spay/neuter and can add vaccines to surgery package.

• 3 months old, minimum 3 lbs
• Toy breeds, minimum 2 lbs, 6 months old
• Money order in the amount of surgery due within 3 days of booking to hold your dogs spot. 

Shelter staff is only responsible for scheduling appointments.

Microchipping


St Charles Parish Animal Control encourages microchipping as an extra layer of protection to find your pet if lost, as all are scanned upon intake at the animal shelter. Staff will call day or night to let you know your pet is safe. By microchipping your pet with your veterinarian, there is 24/7 assistance with advice and support if your pet is lost.

Please, call the microchip company and update your address and phone if any changes are made, so your contacts remain viable.
