LOUISIANA SMALL BUSINESS VETERANS' CONFERENCE SET FOR JULY 25

SBA LogoBATON ROUGE – Are you a veteran looking to start your own business, or already have your business running but need some expertise? Then come to the “Bootstraps to Briefcases” Seventh Annual Louisiana Small Business Veterans’ Conference hosted by the Louisiana District Office of the U.S. Small Business Administration and the Louisiana Small Business Development Center at Southern University on Thursday, July 25th in Baton Rouge.

Every year, the federal government awards over $500 billion in contracts and a significant share of those contracts are specifically allotted to small businesses. Federal agencies are required to award a certain percentage of these contracts to veteran-owned small businesses.

PURPOSE:

Provide training and assistance to the small business community
Provide information on financial assistance available to veterans
Provide strategic growth strategies.

SETTING:

Louisiana Small Business Development Center at Southern University, 616 Harding Boulevard, Baton Rouge LA 70807/ Thursday, July 25, 2019/ 9:00 A.M – 1:00 P.M ( Registration begins at 8:00 A.M.)
